1. Introduction

Welcome to Cargeni ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, services, or vehicle data reports (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services. We are a company registered in England and Wales.

2. The Services

Cargeni provides vehicle history checks by aggregating data from various third-party sources, including but not limited to the DVLA, Police National Computer (PNC), and major finance houses.

Important Note: While we strive for accuracy, we do not create this data. We report data held by official sources. We cannot be held liable for errors present in the source databases (e.g., if the DVLA has recorded a colour incorrectly).

3. Payments & Digital Goods

  • Pricing: Prices for reports are displayed clearly on the website. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.
  • Immediate Delivery: By clicking "Buy Now" or "Unlock Report", you expressly request immediate performance of the contract.
  • Waiver of Cooling-off Period: You acknowledge that because the digital content is provided immediately, you lose your right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period) under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once the download/access has begun.

4. Data Guarantee & Liability

We provide a Data Guarantee of up to £30,000 against financial loss if we fail to identify that a vehicle has:

  • Outstanding Finance
  • Been recorded as Stolen
  • Been recorded as an Insurance Write-off (Category A, B, S, N)

Limitations: This guarantee does not cover:

  • Mileage discrepancies (as these are based on estimated averages and MOT history).
  • Data that was incorrect at the source (DVLA) at the time of the check.
  • Vehicles purchased prior to running the report.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that are suspected of scraping data, sharing credentials, or abusing the service.

6. Intellectual Property

The design, code, logos, and data presentation on Cargeni are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or reproduce any part of the site without our prior written consent.

7. Data Protection (GDPR)

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
